Dr. John founded Imvelo Inc. and is the CEO and Director of Projects. Shelley-Ann’s diverse business experience stretches across many industries—from humanitarian and development, healthcare, education, rehabilitation, social services, and mental health to transportation. Although starting her career in the behavioural sciences, she developed a passion for business.


Dr. John has been a sessional professor where she taught Research Methodology, Business Strategy, Strategic Management and Business Communication in the  MBA and Master of Management programs at University of Windsor's Odette Business School. As both a researcher and project management professional, she is known to be a stickler for planning as well as implementing efficient and effective processes related to projects and change management. 


Shelley-Ann is passionate about supporting organizations in orienting their vision to sustainability and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and stakeholder engagement. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration, Athabasca University; MSc. in Behavioural Medicine; and BSc. Psychology from McGill University.

Dr. Hannah Ajoge is a viral epidemiologist, with interdisciplinary expertise and career that spans two continents (Africa and North America). She received her BSc, MSc and PhD in Microbiology from the Ahmadu Bello University and her Master of Computer Science from Arizona State University. Dr. Ajoge trained in bioinformatics at South African National Bioinformatics Institute and worked as a postdoctoral associate in bioinformatics at University of Western Ontario. 


She has teaching experience from Ahmadu Bello University and Redeemer University, as a full-time lecturer and an associate professor, respectively. Though most of her career has been in academia, she has also worked as a Senior IT professional (computational biology) at Roche (2019-2020). She considers herself a lifelong learner, and has accumulated several certifications in data science, cybersecurity, management, business, and computing.

Dr. Bell attended Western University (London, Canada)  where she completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees in Kinesiology and Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (Physical Therapy), respectively. She completed her doctor of medicine degree at Medical University of Americas which included two years studying medicine on Nevis, and two

She completed her doctor of medicine degree at Medical University of Americas which included two years studying medicine on Nevis, and two years of clinical rotations throughout North America, including Louisiana, Michigan, Maryland, New York, and Ontario (North Bay and London). Following this, Sherelle completed a three-year Family Medicine residency training at WellSpan York Hospital, a 596-bed community teaching hospital in Pennsylvania and the region's leader in advanced specialty care. This training encompassed all areas of family medicine including outpatient and inpatient medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics, geriatrics, and women's care. The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine awarded Dr. Bell the 2021 resident teacher award in recognition of her proficiency and passion for teaching medical students.


Dr. Bell practices medicine in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. She has a passion for preventative care, in-office procedures, and serving underserved, marginalized and elderly individuals.

 Dr. Decoito is a formally trained sociologist with over 30 years of experience in the Canadian non-profit sector where she has worked at the CEO level and various levels of governance.

In addition to her executive management and leadership abilities, Paula has well-developed knowledge and skills in the fields of research, policy analysis, strategic planning for non-profit organizations, grant-writing, and facilitation. Paula's areas of focus have included projects related to settlement and immigration; diversity, equity, and inclusion; gender-based analysis; poverty reduction; and community development.


Dr. Decoito received her Ph.D. in Sociology of Education from the University of Toronto; Master of Arts in Social Welfare Policy from McMaster University; and her undergraduate degree in Sociology and Philosophy from the University of Toronto.


As a part-time professor at Sheridan College in Ontario, Canada, within the Faculty of Applied Health and Community Studies, Dr. Decoito teaches Community Development and Fundraising; Non-Profit Management and Grant-writing; Social Justice, Social Policy, and Social Change; Police Foundations: Community Issues and Services; Introduction to Sociology; Introduction to Psychology.

Dr. Freeman is a computer scientist who specializes in artificial intelligence. His expertise crosses academia, industry, and applied research in Canada, Ghana, and South Africa. He is currently  IMVELO’s Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO), having held senior academic leadership and research director roles.

Dr. Freeman’s skills include artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and intelligent systems engineering. His research portfolio spans multiple applied domains, including health informatics (AI-based disease detection and medical image analysis), energy systems (AI-driven solar performance monitoring, electromobility platforms, and predictive energy analytics), IoT-enabled systems, educational technologies, blockchain, and AR/VR optimization. His work emphasizes scalable, data-driven solutions that support sustainable development and real-world decision-making.

Dr. Freeman holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of South Africa, a master’s degree in information technology from Open University Malaysia, and a bachelor’s degree in information technology from Accra Institute of Technology. He is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Computer Science Department at Ghana Communication Technology University and has contributed to international research collaborations with institutions such as the University of British Columbia (Blockchain) and the University of South Africa (UNISA). His academic and professional profile reflects a strong integration of rigorous research, innovation, and applied AI practice.

Ms. Solomon currently serves as the Secretary for Imvelo Inc. Her responsibilities are administration, research, and project facilitation. 


Joshuelle completed a bachelor of science degree from Western University, Ontario, where she studied Clinical Biochemistry, Genetics, Health Promotion and Health Policy and an MBA from Carleton Univers

Ms. Solomon currently serves as the Secretary for Imvelo Inc. Her responsibilities are administration, research, and project facilitation. 


Joshuelle completed a bachelor of science degree from Western University, Ontario, where she studied Clinical Biochemistry, Genetics, Health Promotion and Health Policy and an MBA from Carleton University. Her interests include social justice, reproductive rights, and matters concerning mothers and children.


She has over 10 years' experience in client relations, and management of change and brings strong competencies in communication and relationship building to the team. Currently, she also owns and is the CEO of Babylove Doula Services, a London-based provider of birth and postpartum care for families in the Middlesex-London region.
